The Ministry of Agriculture and World Vegetable Center Sign MoU to Accelerate International Integration of Taiwan’s Vegetable R&D

On July 31, the Ministry of Agriculture signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the World Vegetable Center (WorldVeg) for cooperation in vegetable research and development. Minister of Agriculture Chen Junji, Director General of WorldVeg Marco Wopereis, and representatives from ten agricultural research and extension stations attended the signing ceremony. Building on the foundation of over 50 years of partnership, the MoU will enable both parties to jointly align with international innovative scientific research and development. They will also work towards establishing climate-resilient and environmentally responsible vegetable industries in various regions, aiming to safeguard the health and nutrition of global consumers.
